Regarding the case “Concrete Plant Operating Without a License for 6 Years” previously reported by Dai Doan Ket Newspaper, the People’s Committee of Quang Nam Province has officially issued a document to terminate the operation of this asphalt mixing plant.
On June 22, Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Nam Province, stated that the Provincial People’s Committee had issued Document No. 4557 to the Departments of Planning and Investment, Natural Resources and Environment, Construction, Industry and Trade, and the People’s Committee of Que Son District regarding the termination of the investment project for an 80 tons/hour hot asphalt mixing plant located at Que Cuong Industrial Cluster, Que Son District.
Accordingly, after reviewing the proposal of the Department of Planning and Investment and based on the unified opinions of the Acting Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Quang Nam Province agreed in principle to terminate the investment project of the hot asphalt mixing plant of Tin Dang Khang Construction Investment Co., Ltd.
The People’s Committee of Quang Nam Province assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to take the lead, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Que Son District and relevant departments and agencies, to review and complete all necessary dossiers and procedures to carry out the project termination in accordance with regulations, as well as to monitor and handle any arising issues.
The People’s Committee of Que Son District was assigned to coordinate with the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment and Planning and Investment in managing and using the land after recovery in compliance with current regulations.
Previously, on August 24, 2023, Dai Doan Ket Newspaper published an article titled “Concrete Plant Operating Without a License for 6 Years”, reflecting that the hot asphalt mixing plant built at Que Cuong Industrial Cluster had been operating illegally for many years without being handled by local authorities.
